Located at the intersection of Daniels Parkway and U.S. 41, known as the "crossroads" of Southwest Florida, averaging a combined traffic count of 47,000 vehicles per day.
The shops are centrally positioned between Sarasota and Naples, with easy regional access via I-75. In 2007, two million tourists spent over 163.5 million dollars in Lee County.

The Larry Harris List of the Nation’s Best Art Festivals ranks the Sun Valley Center Arts & Crafts Festival among the top 20 in the Pacific Northwest and California. Sales for the 2008 show, which included 130 artists, were approximately $500,000 based on taxes collected by the City of Ketchum. Admission is free and entertainment and educational programs are scheduled throughout the weekend. The area is a level, grassy field surrounded by high alpine mountains.
